Responsibilities:
- Work under limited supervision to accomplish assigned tasks and emergency calls
- Strong ability to discern highest priority tasks and maintain schedule accordingly
- Accurately source parts and maintain expense reports & PO’s
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on company vehicles, trucks, trailers, and specialized construction equipment.
- Service hydraulic systems, small engines, aerial lifts, and heavy-duty equipment used in utility construction.
- Conduct regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and safety checks on fleet equipment.
- Maintain accurate service records and inventory of parts in compliance with company standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures in the field and perform emergency repairs as needed.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, ANSI, Dielectric Testing, and company safety requirements when maintaining or operating vehicles and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in repair of heavy-duty trucks, equipment, & hydraulic systems
- Experience in Altec and Terex equipment recommended
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to properly repair component systems to OEM standard or higher
- Proficiency with diagnostic software ie. (Insite, Servicemaxx, NEDS, JPro, Allison DOC, Altec Axis, etc.)
- Hydraulic diagnostic and repair experience required
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and how to properly diagnose, pinpoint, and repair faults within 12v, multiplex, and can-bus systems
Certifications, Licenses, & Other Requirements
- Valid Driver's License with moderately clean driving record
- 21+ years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to lift 80lbs un-assisted, and ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to obtain DOT Medical Card prior to employment
- Must have reasonable tooling to carry out work (all specialty tooling will be provided by company)
- CDL A/B applicants preferred but not required
