American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an OR Float position at a prestigious academic medical center in Boston, MA, requiring an active MA RN license and experience in a rotating day/evening OR setting.

Schedule options: 4x10 or 3x12 day/evening rotational and variable shifts

4x10 day shift hours: 7a–5:30p (M, T, Th, F) / 9a–7:30p (W); evening shift hours: 1p–11p
-
3x12 day shift hours: 7a–7:30p (M, T, Th, F) / 9a–9:30p (W); evening shift hours: 11a–11p
-
Note: When 4x10 travelers are scheduled on weekends, they will be scheduled for 12-hour shifts, with adjusted shorter shifts during that same week to meet contracted hours

Rotation includes 2 weeks of nights per contract

Weekend shifts and on-call are required; includes at least 2 short calls per 4-week schedule

EMR: Epic (charting)

Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending MA licenses are not accepted

All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)

BLS (AHA) required at minimum; include all required certs per specialty

2 professional references required for consideration

Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Primary source verification of professional license required (both NURSYS and BON)

Float OR position covering multiple OR settings within the health system

Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos

No validated parking available at Boston location; public parking is available at candidate's expense ($17–$22/day); public transportation is encouraged
