Pride Health is hiring a Medical Device Design Engineer to join our client's engineering and laboratory operations team.
This role supports medical device design documentation, change management, and project coordination while partnering with engineering and R&D teams to ensure design changes are completed accurately and on schedule.
Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with subject matter experts and engineering teams to execute changes to medical device design documentation.
- Support project planning, timelines, tracking tools, and status reporting for R&D initiatives.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure project deliverables are completed on time.
- Support strategic initiatives, process improvements, and special projects.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate project status to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline required.
- Experience with Design Control, Design Assurance, or Change Management within product engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare and/or medical device quality systems preferred.
- Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with project tracking and Microsoft Office tools.
