Overview
Join our dedicated caregiving team as a full-time Caregiver, providing compassionate support and essential assistance to individuals in need of daily living care. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure health stability
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration needs to promote proper nutrition
- Implement behavior management strategies for residents with dementia or cognitive disabilities to ensure safety and comfort
- Operate manual handling equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely during transfers and repositioning
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties and adhering to infection control standards
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare teams to coordinate care plans and report concerns promptly
- Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures and CPR certification requirements to respond effectively in emergencies
- Support residents’ participation in social activities and community engagement to enhance quality of life
Skills
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, and geriatrics best practices
- Proficiency in vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and safe patient lifting practices
- Ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care with compassion and professionalism
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous
- Familiarity with manual handling techniques including Hoyer lifts and safe patient transfer methods
- Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and teamwork in a caregiving environment

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
