Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking an experienced Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer with 3+ years of experience and prior travel experience. The role supports a high-volume structural echo lab performing TTE, TEE, stress echo, 3D, strain, contrast imaging, and complex structural cardiac studies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform 2D/3D echocardiography, TTE, TEE, stress echo, and contrast-enhanced studies.
- Perform Bubble Studies, Color Doppler, LV Strain, LV Volume, and Diastology calculations.
- Perform structural heart imaging including TAVR, Mitral Clip, MVR, TVR, and ASD closure cases.
- Perform studies on inpatient, ICU, ED, and outpatient populations.
- Utilize Epic, PACS, Philips, Siemens, GE, Hitachi, SonoSite, and Toshiba systems.
- Enter preliminary reports and collaborate closely with cardiologists.
- Float within the facility according to scope of practice.
Requirements
- 3+ years Echo/Cardiac Sonography experience – REQUIRED
- Prior travel experience – REQUIRED
- Epic experience – REQUIRED
- BLS – REQUIRED
- RDCS or CCI RCS – REQUIRED
- ARDMS preferred
- Strong structural echo experience – REQUIRED
- Experience with TAVR, Mitral Clips, MVR, TVR, and ASD closures
- Experience with TEE, stress echo, 3D, strain, and Lumason contrast
- Left-handed scanner required
- Locals within 50 miles accepted at same rate; in-person interview required

- Weekend: Every other weekend

- Float: Within facility/scope
- RTO: Maximum 7 days

- Compliance must be completed on time to avoid a 2-week start delay
