**THIS IS NOT A HOUSE PAINTING POSITION** We are looking for an industrial painter experienced in the application of wet paint on various metals and plastics for 1st & 2nd Shift. Must be familiar with all types of paints including mil-spec, urethanes, epoxies etc. Ideal candidate should be able to base coat and texture coat. Automotive spray painters are encouraged to apply!
Experience
· 1 year minimum (will provide additional training)
Role and Responsibilities (Including but not limited to)
· Hang products on racks for the paint process
· Apply wet paint to various metal and plastic parts
· Inspect and remove defective products
· Check product for flaws, or imperfections.
· Establish and maintain company safety protocols.
· Based on work load, help to mask and rack parts prior to painting.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment
· Other duties as deemed appropriate by Management and the Company.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Must be able to match textures from supplied samples
· High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum Training Requirements
· In-house training per ES0009 JMD Training Plan
· In-house training per JMD-100 (JMD’s Quality Management System)
Minimum Physical Requirements
· Must be able to stand for long periods of time
· Must have good hand/eye coordination and dexterity
· Must have ability to lift up to 30lbs or more with partner
Working Conditions
· Moderate hazards, chemicals, slip and fall, heavy lifting
· Proper PPE is required
