We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, and dependable Registered Nurse to join our Pre-Surgery Screening team on a Full-Time basis. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment with orthopedic, neurosurgery (adult and some pediatric), and ENT patients while providing exceptional preoperative care and patient education.
This Full-Time position is Monday-Friday 8am to 4:30pm, no holidays, weekends, or on-call. This is a hybrid position with the option to partially work from home. Candidates should be team-oriented, adaptable, and dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring a positive surgical experience.
Pay range for this position starts at $36/hour & built based on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver the highest quality nursing care in a non-judgmental and non-discriminating manner, sensitive to patient needs
- Contribute to the team-oriented environment by demonstrating cooperative, constructive, problem-solving interaction with coworkers
- Provide phone screenings to patients prior to surgery
- Triage and collect health information pertinent to preparation for surgery
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, outside clinics/providers, and hospital staff.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as an RN in the State of Nebraska
- Current BLS certification (ACLS, and PALS certifications preferred as well)
- At least two years of med/surg, acute care, or other nursing experience
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs frequently, push/pull up to 25 lbs frequently; frequent standing, bending, stooping, and repetitive motion to hands/wrists
