Duties
- Prepare a variety of menu items with precision, adhering strictly to recipes and presentation standards
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, and food processors safely and efficiently
- Execute food preparation tasks including grilling, braising, poaching, and meal assembly in high-volume production settings
- Follow food safety sanitizing procedures diligently to ensure a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing to support consistent quality and innovation
- Handle food with care, practicing proper food handling techniques to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Support dietary department needs by understanding dietary restrictions and assisting with meal customization when required
Experience
- Previous food service experience in fast-paced restaurant or catering environments is highly preferred
- Demonstrated culinary experience with skills in grilling, braising, poaching, knife handling, and food production techniques
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in commercial kitchens
- Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in high-volume settings
- Knowledge of dietary aide responsibilities or dietary department experience is a plus
- Proven ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining consistency across multiple dishes
- Strong understanding of food handling standards, hygiene practices, and safety regulations within the food industry

Pay: $26.14 - $31.48 per hour
