Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Immigration Attorney specializing in E-2 and EB-5 investor visas to join our dedicated legal team. Duties
- Advise clients on E-2 treaty investor visas and EB-5 immigrant investor visa requirements, preparing and reviewing all necessary documentation for submission.
- Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to stay current on immigration policies, regulations, and case law affecting investor visas.
- Draft detailed legal memos, petitions, affidavits, and supporting documents with precision and clarity to strengthen each case.
- Manage client communications efficiently, providing updates on application status and guiding clients through interview preparation and compliance procedures.
- Collaborate with financial advisors, regional centers, and business entities to ensure investment compliance and eligibility criteria are met.
- Assist with related legal matters such as estate planning, family law issues, or securities law considerations that may impact visa eligibility or client interests.
- Support the firm’s legal administrative processes by maintaining organized case files, tracking deadlines, and preparing reports for internal review.
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdictions.
- Proven experience handling E-2 and EB-5 visa cases from start to finish with successful outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of immigration law principles, including the latest policies affecting investor visas.
- Familiarity with related legal areas such as estate planning, securities law, landlord-tenant law, family law, tribal regulations, patent law, environmental law, workers’ compensation law, personal injury law, litigation procedures, and legal research tools like Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive legal research and produce well-written legal documents with excellent attention to detail.
- Exceptional negotiation skills combined with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly to clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Prior experience working in a law office environment with proficiency in legal drafting and administrative tasks essential for managing multiple cases efficiently. Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
