We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including programmable logic controllers and ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs and modifications.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings to execute maintenance tasks effectively.
- Oversee facilities maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Engage in residential painting projects as required to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Provide leadership and supervision to junior staff during maintenance projects.
- Deliver excellent customer service when interacting with clients or stakeholders regarding maintenance issues.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles.
- Proficiency in electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Experience with programmable logic controllers is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with welding techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance is essential.
- Supervising experience is preferred for leadership roles within the team.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.

Pay: $21.82 - $26.28 per hour
