Duties include:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
- Prepare examination rooms and assist during procedures, including X-ray imaging and medication administration when qualified.
- Manage medical administrative support tasks such as updating Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information.
- Conduct patient education on treatment plans, medication usage, and post-procedure care to ensure understanding and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, test results, medication administration logs, and procedural documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology essential for efficient documentation.
- Prior experience in pain management preferred, but willing to train as well.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical-surgical procedures to support diverse clinical needs.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse patient populations.
Position is FT at our Central Phoenix location - 16th Street and Osborn. Full benefits are provided as well as PTO and sick time.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
