The typical shift for this position would be 10am-6pm Sunday and 11am-7pm Monday-Thursday.
We are growing at St Vincent de Paul Green Bay! We have an opening for a Full Time Thrift Store Team Supervisor (Team Lead). Based on the daily needs and goals for the store, the Team Lead assists store management with the operation of the sales floor, donation area and the pricing/donations department of the thrift store. Our store management leads by example, and Team Leads are required to provide hands-on assistance in all functions of the store and model expected performance. Team Leads are sometimes responsible for opening or closing the store and occasionally have the opportunity to work at other Green Bay locations when needed. Open availability is required from Team Leads as schedules may occasionally change due to business needs. A mix of opening, closing, and a weekend day shift are common in this position. Team Leads gain valuable hands-on experience to develop their skills for future advancement.
Essential Functions:
- Work alongside the Thrift Store Team to complete assigned tasks at the point of sale, salesfloor, pricing room, and donation dock
- Treat customers, coworkers, and volunteers with dignity and respect in accordance with SVdP-GB mission and values
- Assign daily tasks to team members (paid and volunteer) to carry out operational directives given by Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager
- Report to work as scheduled, following SVdP guidelines for calling in any absences
- Train new staff and hold all team members accountable to St. Vincent de Paul standards
- Step in as acting manager in the absence of store Manager or Assistant Manager
- Fill in as needed for absent cashiers, donation, production or retail employees
- Open and close store/loading dock as instructed by Store Management
- Ensure that health, safety, and security rules are followed, documenting any incidents or accidents
- Other duties as assigned by Thrift Store Leadership

- Ability to be forklift certified

- Ability to work a flexible schedule with changing priorities
- Ability to maintain reliable transportation to work at any of our Green Bay stores
- Physical condition adequate to permit full performance of duties
