Responsibilities
- Safely transport furniture to residential and commercial customer locations using company-provided vehicles.
- Load, unload, and move furniture into the designated areas of homes, offices, and businesses.
- Assemble and install furniture according to manufacturer instructions and customer specifications.
- Install items such as beds, tables, desks, chairs, shelving units, cabinets, and other residential or commercial furniture.
- Inspect furniture for damage and ensure all items are assembled correctly, securely, and safely.
- Position furniture according to customer instructions and remove packaging materials from the work area.
- Provide professional customer service and address questions or concerns during delivery and installation.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, damages, and customer interactions.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous furniture delivery, assembly, or installation experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and maneuver heavy furniture.
- Experience using basic hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
