Scheduler / Receptionist (Spanish-Bilingual)
Full-Time, In-Office | San Francisco, CA
Pay: $22–$26/hour (commensurate with experience)
Speech Goals is a mission-driven pediatric therapy practice supporting children and families through high-quality, relationship-centered care. We are looking for a full-time, in-office Scheduler/Receptionist for our San Francisco location — someone who is organized, responsive, bilingual, and truly ON IT.
This role is the heartbeat of our office. The right person is proactive, collaborative, solution-driven, and proud to be part of a team doing meaningful work.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and coordinate therapy schedules with accuracy, urgency, and care
- Serve as the first point of contact for families — welcoming, checking in, and supporting them in person and via phone, text, and online systems
- Communicate daily with families, therapists, and leadership to keep schedules running smoothly
- Problem-solve schedule changes, cancellations, and gaps quickly and professionally
- Maintain an organized, calm, and child-friendly front office environment
- Prepare materials and support day-to-day administrative needs
- Use online scheduling platforms, chat tools, and internal systems with confidence
- Collaborate closely with the broader admin and clinical team across locations
What We’re Looking For
This role is not passive. We are looking for someone who takes ownership and pride in their work.
Required:
- Fully bilingual Spanish/English (confident verbal and written communication)
- Prior scheduling experience (healthcare, therapy, education, or similar)
- Highly responsive, detail-oriented, and organized
- Strong communication skills and professional judgment
- Collaborative team player with a solution-focused mindset
- Comfortable managing multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced environment
- In-office availability (this is not a remote role)
Strongly Preferred:
- Experience in a therapy, healthcare, education, or family-facing setting
- Experience supporting children, toddlers, or families
- Familiarity with Special Education or pediatric services
- Comfort with online platforms, scheduling software, and digital communication tools
No bachelor’s degree required.
