Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide occupational therapy services to our residents at our skilled nursing facility in Joplin, MO. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work on a per diem/PRN basis, providing evaluations, treatments, and progress reports to help our residents achieve their rehabilitation and wellbeing goals. Occupational Therapist (OTR) Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to residents, including evaluations, treatments, and progress reports
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each resident
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment plans
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care and service
Occupational Therapist (OTR) Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR) in the state of Missouri
- Experience working with older adults and seniors, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
