Job Title: Cashier
Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchases
- Scan items, process payments, and give correct change
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area
- Answer customer questions and resolve issues promptly
- Promote store promotions and loyalty programs
- Follow all safety and security procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
