Duties
- Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles of various sizes and types.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle issues quickly and accurately before towing or repair.
- Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally.
- Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively, ensuring safety for all parties involved during roadside incidents or disputes.
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, fuel usage, and service reports for record-keeping and compliance purposes.
Experience
- Experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial driving vehicles with a valid driver’s license suitable for heavy-duty or commercial driving.
- Familiarity with manual transmissions, automotive repair procedures, and automotive systems.
- Experience handling flatbed tow trucks or other specialized equipment is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills combined with conflict management abilities to handle stressful situations professionally.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to towing operations, vehicle securing techniques, and traffic regulations.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
