Responsibilities
Perform a full range of maintenance and repair services efficiently and accurately
Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues using factory tools and diagnostic equipment
Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards
Test-drive vehicles and verify all concerns are resolved before delivery
Provide clear, detailed documentation of work performed on repair orders
Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and customers regarding needed repairs or recommendations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Stay current on Ford training, certifications, and technical updates
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ford Certification required; Senior Master Technician certification preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician (Ford or Lincoln dealership experience strongly preferred)
In-depth knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques
Proficiency with Ford diagnostic tools and service software
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
