Our client is seeking Assemblers in Arnold, MO Monday-Friday 7AM-5:30PM, with some OT on Friday and Saturday. The Assembler is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces, adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures. They aid in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of component parts and products. They must also maintain clean work areas, and follow detailed instructions in order to meet safety, and quality requirements.
Assembler Responsibilities:
- Using tools to make or repair parts and products.
- Interpreting technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
- Working with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products.
- Keeping a clean and safe workspace.
- Meeting all safety requirements of the company and industry.
- Identifying any defective items, and handling them according to established procedures.
- Using reason to solve problems as they arise.
Experience
- Previous experience in a factory or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques is advantageous.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues during assembly.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively.
