MedStuff Pharmacy and Medical Supply, located at 7150 Leetsdale dr, unit 316, Denver, CO, 80224, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive CRT Intake Specialist to join our Intake Department.
Position Summary
The Complex Rehabilitation Technology (CRT) Intake Specialist is responsible for evaluating, coordinating, and supporting the provision of medically necessary complex rehabilitation equipment and seating solutions for individuals with mobility limitations and disabilities. The CRT Specialist works closely with therapists, physicians, referral sources, manufacturers, and internal team members to ensure appropriate equipment selection, documentation, funding approval, and successful patient outcomes.
Job responsibilities:
- Coordinate equipment evaluations, fittings, deliveries, and follow-up appointments.
- Prepare, collect, and review documentation to support funding and insurance requirements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
- Collaborate with referral sources, case managers, therapists, caregivers, and patients throughout the equipment procurement process.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records within company systems and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Stay current on CRT products, industry trends, payer requirements, and manufacturer offerings.
- Participate in continuing education and manufacturer training programs as required.
Required skills:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Complex Rehabilitation Technology and mobility equipment field required.
- Knowledge of complex mobility equipment, seating and positioning systems, and funding requirements.
- Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance documentation standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, clinicians, referral sources, and internal teams.
- Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
