Position Description:
This position is for a driven individual to assist in the wiring of panels, interfacing, and debugging of CNC grinding machines. The candidate must have a strong desire to learn, adjust, and adapt to several different tasks daily. You should possess a self-starting work ethic with the ability to take direction and work alone or in a group setting.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of industrial electrical wiring, including high and low voltage systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Experience in building and wiring electrical panels and machine control pendants.
- Experience with electrical interface of machines, including integration of panels with machinery.
- Knowledge of precision instruments and measuring devices for troubleshooting and setup.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules, occasional weekends.
- Willingness to travel as needed for installations and service at customer facilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Operation of basic hand tools.
Knowledge & Necessary Skills Required:
- Proficiency in machine troubleshooting and debugging to resolve electrical and control system issues.
- Familiarity with PLC wiring and basic understanding of PLC components (programming experience is a plus).
- Ability to read ladder programming.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to diagnose and fix electrical issues efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Electrical Engineering and other departments.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Education & Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 2-years of Electrical Experience with machinery and related equipment.
- General Troubleshooting Skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
