Kitchen Helper – Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Cut and prepare vegetables, meats, and other ingredients as directed by kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including prep areas and dry storage.
- Assist with receiving and properly storing food deliveries and supplies.
- Support cooks as needed, including assisting with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks.
- Help run food from the kitchen line to the service window and assist with plating items such as rice for dine-in and takeout orders.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to help maintain an efficient and sanitary kitchen.
The Kitchen Helper supports overall kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and providing support to cooks to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
