Optimus Prosthetics is seeking a Revenue Cycle Team Lead located either in our Dayton or Columbus office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage payment discrepancies with insurance companies and write and submit appeals
- Assist in identifying current and/or potential billing issues specific to outstanding receivables
- Present claim data to appropriate parties and partner to develop resolutions and improve cash collections
- Demonstrate time management skills and the ability to work independently in collaboration with the administrative and clinical staff
- Maintain criteria and conduct internal chart audits
- Respond to pre-pay and post-pay audits
Quality Candidates will have:
- The successful candidate must have exceptional self management, planning and organizational skills, and the ability to interact with others in a positive manner. As the Revenue Cycle Team Lead for Optimus Prosthetics, you must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral, and the ability to multi-task. In addition, you must have 2 years of previous experience in a medical appeals role, strong understanding of Medicare regulations and payer-specific guidelines, knowledge of HCPCSA codes and modifier usage.
