Location: Ripon, CA
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
(Currently working 10-hour shifts)
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join a growing manufacturing team in Ripon, CA. This position is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components used in industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with MIG and TIG welding, be able to read blueprints and measurements accurately, and work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metal components.
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
- Use measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Inspect finished products for quality and conformance to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required.
- Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using measuring tools and fabrication equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Trade school or vocational training in welding/fabrication is a plus.
Hiring Process
- Candidates must successfully complete an on-site welding assessment consisting of both written and hands-on testing.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
