We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations and ensure successful project execution.
The Construction Superintendent is responsible for managing daily on-site construction activities, supervising crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects meet schedule, quality, and safety standards. This role serves as the primary on-site leader and works closely with project managers, clients, inspectors, and trade partners.

Leads preconstruction process including scope development, bidding procurement, qualification and permitting

Oversee all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project completion

Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel

Enforce company safety policies and ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations

Review project plans, specifications, and schedules to ensure accurate execution

Maintain the project schedule and proactively address delays or conflicts

Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality standards are met

Monitors, corrects, and reports on quality control issues and defective or non-conforming work.

Coordinate inspections and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations

Track site progress, and communicate status updates to the project team, project owners, inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers and other stakeholders

Works with on-site staff to coordinate construction activities to minimize disruption to residents and business operations as applicable.

Maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site

Resolve on-site issues quickly and professionally

Requires traveling to Ginosko office in Novi and assigned work site locations as needed. Some overnight travel may be required.

Minimum 4 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or project supervision in multi-family construction

Associate's degree or certificate in construction management, engineering or related field preferred, bachelor's degree a plus.

Journeyman licensure/ certification preferred

Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing

Thorough knowledge of safety regulations and quality control practices

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Proven leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency with construction management software and basic computer applications

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
