POSITION: School Psychologist LOCATION: District-wide

SCHEDULE: 1.0 FTE - Ten Month/Full Time START DATE: August 25, 2026
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate
- Masters Degree in School Psychology
- Experience and training in administering and interpreting psychological evaluations within an educational
setting
- Knowledgeable of Special Education rules and regulations
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and administration
- Must demonstrate ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively with parents and professionals
- Strong technology and organizational skills
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills and ability to facilitate and mediate meetings with parents and
school teams to best support students
- Ability to work effectively in either a face-to-face or virtual environment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts extensive psychological evaluations of students.
- Interprets psychological data to school personnel, other professionals, parents and the student.
- Collects data and provides systematic observations for students experiencing challenges in the school
setting.
- Works within a team to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and help develop behavior plans.
- Member of school support teams.
- Participates in Crisis intervention as needed.
- Stays current on new developments in the field of education.
- Collaborate with all departments and administration.
