Position Overview
Westlake Village Dentist is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of two years of clinical experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Maintain treatment rooms in full compliance with sterilization and infection-control protocols.
- Perform dental radiographs and digital scans (current California X-ray certification required).
- Provide coronal polishing and patient instruction on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Support clinical documentation, impressions, and laboratory coordination as needed.
Qualifications
- Active California RDA license with coronal polishing and radiology certification.
- Proficiency in dental terminology and electronic medical record systems.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and demonstrated commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Experience in four-handed dentistry and strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients and colleagues.
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft preferred.
