Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Decorate cakes and baked goods with intricate designs, fondant, icing, and other decorative elements to meet customer specifications and event themes
- Prepare cakes, pastries, and other baked items following established recipes and food safety guidelines
- Package finished products securely for delivery or display, maintaining presentation quality
- Assist in food production tasks such as mixing, baking, and portioning baked goods for high-volume output
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food handling and safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by discussing customization options and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Support kitchen team members in food preparation, ensuring efficient workflow during busy periods
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or related food production roles within the food industry or catering environment
- Strong knife skills and proficiency with decorating tools such as piping bags, spatulas, molds, and fondant cutters
- Knowledge of baking techniques, food safety management, and handling baked goods with care
- Experience working in high-volume production settings or restaurant kitchens preferred
- Excellent attention to detail with an eye for design aesthetics and presentation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
