Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha or Micros.
- Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Support food safety and sanitation practices by maintaining cleanliness in dining and kitchen areas.
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring proper food presentation.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail math is a plus but not required—training will be provided!
- Basic math skills for cash handling, POS transactions, and inventory management.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and good communication abilities.
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively.
- Experience with food preparation, bussing, or kitchen operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
