Position Overview: We are seeking Dependable and Professional Full-Time and Part-Time Unarmed Security Officers to provide security coverage for churches and faith-based organizations throughout the Philadelphia area.
Assignment will include regular church operations, worship services, and special events.
Being situationally awareness while providing respectful and professional service to members, guests, staff, volunteers, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and alert security presence.
- Conduct roving patrols of interior, exterior, and parking areas.
- Patrol the assigned grounds in vehicle and on foot
- Monitor entrances, exits, restricted areas, and event spaces.
- Monitor assigned areas using closed-circuit television (CCTV).
- Identify and report hazards, suspicious activity, and security concerns.
- Respond to medical emergencies, disturbances, alarms, and evacuations.
- Apply effective communication and de-escalation strategies.
- Assist members, guests, staff, and emergency personnel as needed.
- Follow assigned post orders and established security procedures.
- Complete Daily Activity and Incident Reports accurately.
- Must be flexible to work other assigned contracted job sites.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Complete required background screening.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred: e
- xperience in church security, event security, public safety, military service, hospitality, customer service, or related protective services.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
