Position Summary
ServiceMaster by Isler is seeking a dependable, hardworking Water Restoration Technician to join our disaster restoration team. This role is responsible for responding to residential and commercial water damage emergencies, performing mitigation services, and helping restore properties to pre-loss condition. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional service during stressful situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency water damage calls, including after-hours and on-call assignments as scheduled.
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, dehumidification, and moisture monitoring.
- Set up, inspect, and remove drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers.
- Conduct demolition of damaged materials such as drywall, flooring, insulation, and cabinetry when necessary.
- Document job progress using photos, moisture readings, and restoration software.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and property managers.
- Follow IICRC standards and company procedures for water mitigation and restoration.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Operate company vehicles and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
- Assist with mold remediation, fire restoration, and other emergency restoration services as needed.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in water mitigation, construction, restoration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification is preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

Work Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Must be available for rotating on-call emergency response, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
