As a Landscape Maintenance Technician, you’ll work alongside a team of skilled and motivated crew members to maintain commercial and residential landscapes throughout the greater La Crosse region. Our work emphasizes ecological sustainability, craftsmanship, and community impact.
This position is physically demanding and weather-dependent at times, but it’s also deeply rewarding. At the end of each day, you’ll step back and see something real — landscapes that are not only beautiful, but that improve local ecology and help people connect with nature.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain ecological landscapes including pollinator gardens, rain gardens, food forests, and edible landscapes by means of weeding, pruning, mulching etc
- Leading or assisting in lawn care maintained for commercial and residential properties
- Work collaboratively as part of a crew under the guidance of a Crew Leader
- Take initiative and work independently on residential and commercial job sites
- Contribute to a positive, safe, and hard-working team culture
- Support the company mission of ecological sustainability and community improvement
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting 50+ lbs and repetitive movements
- At least 21 years old (min age required by WI DOT for commercial driving) and a valid drivers license
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
- Attention to detail on all tasks
- Ability to work quickly, safely and efficiently as there are typically many jobs to do in one day
- Flexibility when weather impacts scheduling
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Interest in sustainable landscaping and meaningful outdoor work
Preferred (But Not Required) Skills
We provide on-the-job training. Pay is based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
