The Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) of Nevada Early Intervention Services (NEIS) is currently accepting resumes for a full-time Senior Physician - Pediatrician position in Las Vegas. At ADSD, we foster innovative thinking, teamwork, and a positive work environment. Our mission is to provide high-quality, comprehensive support services across the lifespan, allowing Nevada's elders, children, and adults with disabilities or special health care needs to live independent, meaningful, and dignified lives. Early Intervention Services We serve children ages 0-3 with developmental delays and disabilities eligible for Part C services under IDEA Part C. We also support children and families with diagnostics, including autism. Children enrolled in early intervention (EI) are entitled to medical services under CFR 303.13 of IDEA Part C.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Graduation from an accredited school of medicine or one approved by the Nevada Board of Medical Examiners One year of internship in an approved hospital and three years of experience in the practice of medicine, or an equivalent combination Completion of an appropriate residency approved by the American Medical Association, or an equivalent combination substituting each year of resident training for a year of medical practice Board eligibility in a medical specialty or board certification in a medical specialty
