Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive pharmacy experience. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to patient-centered care through medication management, clinical assessments, and collaborative healthcare practices within a dynamic pharmacy environment.
Duties
- Dispense medications accurately while ensuring compliance with medical orders and pharmacy regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy and optimize treatment outcomes.
- Provide expert consultation on medication.
- Utilize pharmacy software, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems to document patient interactions and medication records efficiently.
- Manage inventory control, including medication stock levels and storage conditions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers on medical management plans, pain management strategies.
- Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Familiarity with Micro Merchant Software system a plus, EMR/EHR platforms.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patients.
