Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements using OpenTable or similar reservation systems.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS systems.
- Serve food, beverages, cocktails, and spirits with professionalism, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
- Upsell menu items including wine, specialty drinks, and desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately while processing payments and providing correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address guest requests promptly for an exceptional dining experience.
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally.
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities.
