We're looking for a creative storyteller, content creator, digital strategist, and relationship builder who embraces Cornerstone of Hope's Christian mission and is passionate about sharing stories that inspire hope and strengthen our community..
You'll help shape the voice of Ohio's leading bereavement organization, grow our digital presence, strengthen community partnerships, and create content that inspires people to engage, volunteer, give, and seek support.

What You'll CreateCreate Scroll-Stopping Content (40%)
· Lead Cornerstone's day-to-day social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
· Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns and content that support organizational priorities, fundraising, programs, events, and community awareness.
· Produce compelling reels, short-form videos, graphics, photography, and written content.
· Create and distribute email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and digital communications.
Stories That Matter (30%)
· Identify, interview, photograph, and capture video of clients, volunteers, donors, staff, and community partners to create authentic stories that demonstrate Cornerstone's impact, inspire hope, and strengthen donor engagement.
· Write compelling blogs, newsletters, press releases, impact stories, annual report content, fundraising appeals, campaign messaging, and other communications that increase awareness, build trust, and encourage participation, volunteerism, and philanthropic support.
· Coordinate and prepare organizational leaders for media interviews, podcast opportunities, speaking engagements, and other storytelling opportunities that expand Cornerstone's visibility and reinforce its reputation as Ohio's leading bereavement center.
Community Engagement and Growth (20%)
· Partner with program and development leadership to identify new audiences, strategic partnerships, and opportunities to expand Cornerstone’s reach throughout Ohio.
· Identify and coordinate high-impact community and media opportunities, including conferences, speaking engagements, podcasts, health fairs, networking events, and community outreach activities—that increase visibility and strengthen community relationships.
· Develop and execute marketing campaigns and outreach initiatives that increase referrals, strengthen community awareness, and drive engagement with Cornerstone's programs, services, fundraising events, and emerging initiatives.
· Maintain an outreach calendar and track partnership activity, referral opportunities, media contacts, and community engagement efforts.
Measure, Optimize & Innovate (10%)
· Monitor and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns, social media, website content, email marketing, media relations, and community outreach initiatives, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate effectiveness and optimize future marketing efforts.
· Establish measurable marketing goals and implement strategies that increase audience reach, engagement, referrals, volunteer participation, philanthropic support, and organizational visibility.
· Identify and implement innovative marketing ideas, emerging technologies, AI tools, and process improvements that strengthen communications while maintaining Cornerstone's trusted voice and brand.
· Maintain marketing systems, digital assets, media contacts, and communication resources that support efficient marketing operations and organizational effectiveness.
Other Responsibilities
· Participates in staff meetings, events as outlined in the All-Hands-on-Deck section of the COH PTO Policy.
· Performs other duties as may be assigned.
What You’ll Bring
· An appreciation for and enthusiastic willingness to support Cornerstone of Hope's Christian mission and values.
· Outstanding writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
· Strong visual eye and creative instincts.
· 2–4 years of experience creating engaging digital marketing or communications content.
· Experience with Canva and familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, email marketing platforms, and WordPress or similar content management systems preferred.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
· Demonstrated ability to stay current on emerging marketing trends, AI tools, and evolving social media platforms—and the initiative to thoughtfully incorporate new ideas and technologies while maintaining Cornerstone's established voice and brand.
Bonus Points
· A portfolio of social campaigns, writing samples, photography, or video content.
· Graphic design experience.
· Experience in nonprofit, healthcare, ministry, or behavioral health marketing.
