Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, understand their needs, and recommend suitable automotive products or services to enhance their experience
- Manage inventory levels using inventory management systems and ensure stock is well-organized and replenished as needed
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics and basic automotive repairs or maintenance to assist customers effectively
- Negotiate sales terms with customers, ensuring mutual satisfaction while meeting sales targets
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Prepare and fulfill orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high customer service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and delivery vehicle, including stocking shelves and performing routine vehicle maintenance
Skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual capabilities preferred)
- Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, repair, and service procedures
- Experience with dealership operations, retail sales, and inventory control systems such as CMMS or POS platforms
- Excellent negotiation skills to close sales effectively while fostering positive customer relationships
- Organizational skills for managing stock levels, order fulfillment, and delivery schedules
- Familiarity with automotive repair tools, maintenance practices, and dealership standards
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing, discounts, and inventory management
- Ability to operate Microsoft Excel for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Strong phone etiquette for engaging with customers remotely and providing exceptional customer service
- Basic understanding of marketing strategies to promote products and increase sales momentum
