Job Purpose:
Responsible for providing accurate and courteous service to members, producers and company personnel. This position includes Medicare sales (with bonuses for every policy issued), client services and follow-up, application tracking, data entry, outbound calling campaigns.
*NOTE* This is an on-site position.
Duties:
- Adhere to all compliance, internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet performance and quality standards when creating files, entering information, creating leads, apps and policies in our proprietary CRM.
- Maintain proper file documentation including all phone calls, correspondence, faxes and emails in the CRM.
- Inform and educate clients about policy coverage, changes, exclusions and insurance plans.
- Recording reference numbers, names of representatives and the Q&A presented to/from the client
- Make welcome calls, expired membership calls, assist other departments with data entry as needed
- Any other related duties for Sales and Customer Services
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must hold and maintain a State Health Insurance License (preferred). If you are not licensed, we can assist in helping you obtain your license.
- Strong customer service skills with an ability to assess insurance coverage needs
- Excellent communication and diplomacy skills to resolve issues
- Articulate, well organized and proficient at multi-tasking
- Goal oriented and highly motivated and resourceful to achieve results. Bonuses paid for reaching departmental sales goals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Proficiency in company proprietary databases is expected once trained.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment
