Job Summary
Ice Churro Service Crew members may receive an extra $2-$4 tip for ever hour. Employees operate soft-serve machines and frying equipment to prepare and serve frozen treats, sundaes, beverages, churros, and related items. We focus on quality, speed, and sanitation while delivering friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment. Key duties include maintaining machine sanitation, following portion controls, handling cash/POS transactions, and cleaning service areas. Responsibilities
- Machine Operation & Maintenance: Safely operate, clean, and sanitize both soft-serve and other related food machinery.
- Customer Service: Greet guests, take orders accurately, and serve ice cream and churro with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Product Preparation: For the ice cream- Dispense consistent, accurate portions of soft serve, prepare sundaes, shakes, and add toppings. For churro, prepare dough and operate fryers to cook churros to golden perfection, ensuring consistent shape and quality
- Sanitation & Cleaning: Maintain a spotless service area, including cleaning countertops, cleaning dispensers, and sweeping.
- Inventory/Restocking: Restock all ingredients and supplies, cups, napkins, take-out supplies, cones, toppings, and refill soft-serve mix in the machines.
- Cash Handling: Operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately.
Job Requirements
- Interpersonal: Engage guests with thoughtful flavor recommendations, menu insights, and upselling suggestions.
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail for portion control, and excellent customer service skills.
- Physical: Ability to stand for long periods and lift, bend, or reach for inventory.
- Knowledge: Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Experience: Previous food service experience is advantageous but not necessary as paid training is provided.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- High school diploma or equivalent (often preferred).
- Valid food handler’s card/certificate (if required locally).
- Age: 18 years old and up for full-time and 16 years old and up for part-time.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
