- Seeking an experienced person to assist a mentally challenged, level 3 severely autistic adult male with personal care needs in his family home. Do not apply unless you have work experience caring for adults with severe autism spectrum disorder.
Job duties include:
- Bathing
- Managing challenging behaviors
- Toileting
- Skin care
- Grooming
- Assistance with eating
- Incidental household cleaning
- Laundry
Requirements of applicants:
- A clean background with no criminal history
- Experience working with Autistic individuals with severe autism disorders
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Willingness and ability to follow strict routines
- Must be drug free
- Must have at least 2 work and personal references
- Must be committed to providing long term assistance
Paid biweekly. Part time position available.
