Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are clean and well-presented.
- Maintain floor care by using appropriate cleaning techniques for different surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries with a friendly demeanor.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Assist in housekeeping management tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or commercial cleaning is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and products used in residential and commercial settings.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met consistently.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A willingness to learn new skills related to housekeeping management is a plus.
