Seeking dynamic Property Management Professional to oversee daily operations at our residential multi-family community.
The ideal candidate will lead staff, manage leasing activities, ensure property maintenance, uphold legal and regulatory compliance, and foster positive relationships with tenants and vendors. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and a comprehensive understanding of property management practices to maintain high occupancy rates and property value to ensure first-rate resident living experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property leasing, including marketing available units, conducting tours, and processing applications with prospects.
- Collect rents, issue notices, renewals, etc.
- Maintain effective communication with tenants to address concerns, resolve issues, and enhance resident satisfaction.
- Collaborate with maintenance personnel to coordinate repairs and ensure the property upkeep and service requests resolved in timely manner.
- Handle leasing activities, including marketing available units, conducting property showings, and processing applications.
- Manage the unit turn process to reduce vacancy loss.
- Maintain property record-keeping, including tenant files and lease agreements.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure safety standards are met and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations and company policies related to property management and tenant relations.
- Partner with support of senior leadership to maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, occupancy and resident satisfaction/retention goals.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in property manager role with supervisory experience.
- Previous experience in property management, leasing, or real estate required.
- Personable attitude and exceptional communication skills to foster relationships to maintain and grow resident satisfaction.
- Knowledge of property Leasing Practices, Fair Housing, Raleigh Market, legal administrative processes and basic accounting is highly preferred.
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft 365, web-based platforms and PM software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
