Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will oversee the efficient movement of goods in and out of our pharmacy, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, timely shipments, and proper inventory management. Your expertise will help maintain seamless shipping logistics operations, support pharmacy shipping processes, and uphold trade compliance standards. Duties
- Coordinate the receipt and inspection of incoming shipments using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to verify accuracy and condition.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by selecting, packing, labeling, and securing products with appropriate packaging materials.
- Manage inventory updates within LifeFile
- Conduct stock replenishment activities including stocking shelves, organizing pharmacy ayout for optimal distribution flow, and maintaining stock levels.
Skills
- Familiarity with shipping logistics including order picking & packing, load & unload operations, and shipping documentation requirements.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, measurements, and shipping documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking, order fulfillment, and recordkeeping tasks.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members across warehouse distribution functions.
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
- Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
