Duties
- Assist patients in selecting eyewear that fits their prescription, style preferences, and lifestyle needs, utilizing your strong retail sales skills.
- Take precise measurements of patients’ eyes and facial features to ensure optimal lens and frame fit, applying your knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Prepare and process optical orders using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy in medical coding and billing.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in optical retail or clinic environments with a strong understanding of optical experience and medical terminology, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to patients of all ages, including pediatrics and senior care populations.
