Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runners, Expos, and Bussers play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and servers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
- Ensure that all food items are presented beautifully and meet our quality standards before serving.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any issues that may arise.
- Help maintain cleanliness in the dining area by bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with servers regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for order tracking when necessary.
- Provide exceptional hospitality by assisting guests with any needs or inquiries.
Skills
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Understanding of food safety standards and practices to ensure a safe dining experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset, willing to help colleagues in both front-of-house and kitchen operations.
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is beneficial but not required.
