Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of smoothies, beverages, and light food items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide exceptional service to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck’s food prep area, adhering to food safety guidelines
- Manage cash register transactions efficiently, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow all food handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred, especially barista or coffee experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cashiering tasks
- Experience in retail math, cash handling, or serving in the food industry is advantageous
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
