Manufacturing Technician
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Technician to join our team manufacturing large HVAC condensing coils. This position works with specialized production equipment including fin presses, tube benders, tube expanders, and other automated machinery. While experience with this specific equipment is not required, we are looking for someone with experience operating industrial manufacturing equipment who is eager to learn and grow.
The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys troubleshooting equipment, and takes pride in maintaining machinery to ensure safe and efficient production.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor fin presses, tube benders, tube expanders, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Perform machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers as needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and work alongside maintenance personnel and service technicians to diagnose and resolve mechanical or electrical problems.
- Assist with preventative maintenance to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic electrical troubleshooting using a volt meter.
- Inspect equipment and identify wear, damage, or potential issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
- Keep work areas and equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Continuously learn new equipment, processes, and maintenance techniques.
Qualifications
Required
- Experience operating industrial or manufacturing equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot machinery and identify equipment issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn specialized equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Preferred
- 1–5 years of manufacturing or industrial equipment experience.
- Experience performing preventative maintenance.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills, including the use of a digital volt meter.
- Experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, or automated equipment.
- Ability to read basic mechanical or electrical drawings.
- Experience working directly with equipment manufacturers or field service technicians during repairs.

Pay: $18.00 - $31.00 per hour
