Position Title: AVL Project Lead

Position Summary:
The Project Lead is a critical role responsible for on-site leadership, task management, and project execution. As a site foreman, the Project Lead oversees the project crew and ensures the successful fulfillment of project objectives in the field. This position requires exceptional coordination, task management, organizational skills, and the ability to navigate complex dependencies with other contractors and stakeholders. The Project Lead collaborates with the ARTT Team (Project Release Train Engineer, Project Planning Supervisor, Project Coordinator) and Account Managers to achieve seamless and timely project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Execution and Coordination:
- Oversee the daily activities and performance of the project crew to meet project objectives and quality standards.
- Read and interpret architectural drawings and system engineering schematics to guide project implementation.
- Ensure alignment of on-site activities with project schedules and deliverables as outlined by the Senior Project Manager.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Provide clear direction, assign tasks, and delegate responsibilities to crew members.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and accountability.
- Monitor team performance and resolve on-site challenges promptly to keep the project on track.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Liaise effectively with General Contractors, Electrical Contractors, and other site stakeholders to address dependencies, ensure clear communication, and align objectives.
- Attend kick-off and coordination meetings to gather project details and provide updates.
- Act as the on-site representative for Covenant, maintaining professional interactions with clients and partners.
- Task Management and Deadlines:
- Strong situational awareness of time-sensitive planning and coordination with ARTT and overall project sequencing schedules.
- Demonstrated leadership and discipline in ensuring field crews adhere to established timelines and deliverables.
- Coordinate and prioritize daily tasks to meet kick-off and completion deadlines.
- Monitor progress against schedules, identifying and mitigating risks or delays as necessary.
- Ensure all site activities adhere to safety standards and company policies.
- Organization and Documentation:
- Maintain an exceptional level of organization, tracking tools, materials, and project documents.
- Provide accurate and timely updates to the Senior Project Manager and Project Planning Supervisor regarding progress, issues, or changes on-site.
- Compile daily reports and maintain detailed project records to ensure smooth handoffs and project closure.
- Technical Expertise:
- High level proficiency in end-point terminations and testing.
- High level proficiency in reading and interpreting schematic and construction drawings.
- Possess a solid understanding of AVL system components and installation methods.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and collaborate with the engineering team to resolve on-site challenges.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to improve project execution processes.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in a field supervisory role, preferably in AVL installation or a related industry.
- Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and system engineering schematics.
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and task management skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in team supervision and task delegation.
- Proficiency in navigating relationships with General Contractors, Electrical Contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices for on-site project work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CTS certification.
- Experience in Audio, Video, and Lighting system installations.
- Certifications in AVL integration systems, project management, or related areas are a plus.
- Technical troubleshooting skills with AVL system components.
