Position Summary
The High Dusting Technician is responsible for performing detailed cleaning of elevated surfaces in large retail facilities during non-business hours. Work is conducted in active construction, renovation, or maintenance environments where multiple contractors may be present. Employees are required to wear and maintain all assigned personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow strict safety procedures while working at heights and around other trades.

Perform high dusting of ceilings, beams, rafters, ductwork, piping, signage, lighting fixtures, vents, and other elevated surfaces.
- Remove dust, cobwebs, and debris from overhead areas using specialized cleaning equipment and tools.
- Operate ladders, mobile scaffolding, aerial lifts, and other access equipment in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Work safely in environments shared with other contractors, maintaining awareness of surrounding activities and potential hazards.
- Wear required PPE at all times, including hard hats, safety glasses, high-visibility vests, gloves, fall protection equipment, and other site-specific protective gear.
- Follow all OSHA regulations, site safety requirements, and company policies.
- Establish and maintain safe work zones to protect personnel and property.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any defects or safety concerns.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, facility representatives, and other contractors regarding work progress and safety issues.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and properly dispose of collected debris.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently during overnight or after-hours operations to ensure facilities are ready for business operations.

Ability to work safely at heights and in elevated work areas.
- Experience operating aerial lifts, ladders, or scaffolding preferred.
- Knowledge of PPE requirements and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
- Availability to work nights, weekends, and after-hours shifts.

- Exposure to dust, construction activities, and active contractor work zones.
- Frequent climbing, reaching, bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
- Mandatory use of full PPE and adherence to site-specific safety requirements.
- Regular interaction with multiple contractors and trades working simultaneously within the facility.
Employees are expected to maintain constant situational awareness, comply with all safety requirements, properly utilize assigned PPE, and immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses. Safety is the highest priority and is essential to the successful completion of all high dusting operations.
Offered compensation: $19/hr - $22/hr
