Evergreen Yard Care, Inc. is seeking a motivated, personable, and organized Landscape Sales Associate to help expand our landscape construction and enhancement division. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with landscaping, horticulture, excavation, hardscape, or construction sales experience who enjoys working with customers and creating solutions for outdoor spaces.
As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you'll meet with homeowners and commercial customers, develop project proposals, prepare estimates, and work closely with our Operations Team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation.
Position Type
This is a part-time position, typically scheduled for approximately 20 hours per week, with additional hours available based on seasonal workload, customer demand, and individual performance.
While this position is designed as part-time, opportunities for increased hours, expanded responsibilities, and future full-time employment may become available as the company continues to grow.
Compensation
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience
- 3% commission on all completed, invoiced, and collected projects sold
- Unlimited commission earning potential
- Commission paid after project completion and customer payment
- Projects sold below the company's minimum profit margin may have commission adjusted or withheld at management's discretion
Responsibilities
- Meet with residential and commercial clients at project sites
- Listen to customer needs and recommend practical landscape solutions
- Measure project areas and gather site information
- Prepare professional estimates and proposals using company estimating software
- Follow up with prospective customers and maintain consistent communication throughout the sales process
- Coordinate project handoffs with the Operations Department
- Conduct occasional jobsite visits during installation to ensure customer expectations are being met
- Develop relationships that generate repeat business and referrals
- Assist with marketing initiatives, networking opportunities, and community outreach
- Represent Evergreen Yard Care, Inc. professionally at all times
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape, hardscape, excavation, construction, nursery, or related sales
- Knowledge of landscape construction practices, grading, drainage, planting, patios, retaining walls, and outdoor living projects preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read site conditions and develop creative project solutions
- Comfortable learning estimating software and basic technology
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
